Thunder players joking covered a postgame reporter in towels, and he didn’t miss a beat

The Thunder are absolutely rolling this season, extending their record to 33-6 against the Sixers on Tuesday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is rolling, Jalen Williams has asserted himself as an elite second-scoring option, and the bigs are all clicking.

Oklahoma City has earned the right to have a little fun, and they did exactly that when it came to their post-game interviews with the Thunder’s Nick Gallo.

Gallo stood with peak professionalism asking SGA about the game and the Thunder road trip as a whole when forward Jaylin Williams decided to hang his towel on the reporter. Everyone began to join in, and before long they turned him into a walking towel rack — a mummy, if you will.

Fighting back laughter he managed to finish the entire segment without truly breaking. It was finally SGA, ever the leader, who brushed the towels off the reporter saying “I’m sorry, they’re children … I’m so sorry,” before everyone began laughing.

The Thunder are young, fun, and are now the dominant force in the west. The sky is the limit.
