Drake London Dynasty Outlook: Dynasty WR Rankings

One of the rising stars in dynasty fantasy football is Drake London. Coming out of USC, London was selected 8th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. As a 6’4” and 215 lb outside receiver, the expectation was that London would blossom into a star.

With London scoring 16.5 PPG last season, he’s shot up to become the WR8 on Keep Trade Cut. Below, we’ll place London into my dynasty wide receiver rankings, talk about how to value him in a trade situation and break down his dynasty outlook.

Drake London Dynasty Outlook

With a quarterback carousel in his first few years, London was disappointing relative to expectations. In the first two years of London’s career, he never had more than 11 PPG (PPR). With a combination of Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr at the helm for 2024, everything would change.

As mentioned above, London had 16.5 PPG in 2024, giving him a WR5 finish in 2024 (PPR). At only 23 years old, London has a bright future ahead of him.

While it’s a small sample size, Penix and London had fantastic chemistry in the last three games. London scored 10.9, 17.6 and then exploded for 40.7 points in week 18.

Remember that Penix was a great prospect himself, being drafted 8th overall in 2024. This duo should put up big seasons for years to come.

Buy, Sell or Hold?

With the players that are already valued so highly, it’s tough to put a trade tag on them. I would argue that Penix is a strong hold when looking at how the dynasty community values him. At WR8 prices, that seems exactly where he should be ranked.

The best way to acquire London will be in a tier-up trade if you’re contending. While I’m not sure how much more value London can gain, he can certainly help you win a championship in 2025 despite his young age. It’s not ridiculous at all to expect him to score even more than 16.5 PPG next year.

Some ideas would include packaging the WR13, A.J. Brown and some picks for London. I’m expecting London to be slightly more productive and you get to reset the clock for your dynasty team as well.

Trading DeVonta Smith (WR17) or Xavier Worthy (WR21) and a first-round pick are two great moves that I would make as well. With London, you’re getting a combination of youth and elite production, which is extremely hard to come by in dynasty.

It’s a steep price, but if you’re reading to make a playoff push, buying London makes sense. If not, holding and building a team around him is a good idea as well.

Dynasty WR Rankings

While I wouldn’t take London over Puka Nacua, having him ranked higher than Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison Jr seems very appropriate. In my dynasty wide receiver rankings, London has just recently bumped up to the WR8 spot, putting me in line with the community.

While London is expensive to acquire in your current leagues, if you’re doing a startup draft and he falls further than the WR8, you should be trading him to get him on your roster.
